15 Blue Flag beaches on Ibiza

Ibiza has so many beautiful beaches and bays that it is impossible to visit them all in just a few days’ time. They are all different and suites different guests and tastes. Some are famous, some are popular and some are hidden treasures only known among locals and a few tourists who know the island very well.  Many of those beaches have Blue Flag standards.

Have you ever seen, somewhere on this globe, the flag in white and blue with the water image on it? And did you also wonder what the meaning of that flag was? We did! So we start our search and found the answer…. The Blue Flag beaches must meet certain criteria to get a blue flag. Blue Flag standards include requirements regarding the quality of the water, its safety, the environment, education and information. The Blue Flag beaches are popular beaches because they are indicated as having high quality standards and environments.
