7 tips to make your Ibiza club night a success

Ibiza is known for her lively club scene. People from all over the world come to Ibiza to celebrate life in one of the famous house music temples. In this post we would like to share 7 tips with you that will make your night in Ibiza something you will never forget. So put on your dancing shoes and boogie with us…
Buy your Ibiza club tickets online
In our opinion the best thing to do is to buy your ticket online. There are a few online ticket services but we love clubtickets.com and Ibiza Spotlight.com. It is quick, easy and you can do it from the comfort of your own living room. Ticket prices range from 30 to 70 Euros. The best part is that most of the time you don’t need to wait in line. You just go to the club’s guest list/internet ticket entrance and you are ready to burn some serious dance floors.
Watch out for the promo teams
We all know the promo teams on the beach and in Ibiza Town. Make sure to have a chat with the promo girls and guys because sometimes they give away wristbands that give you free access to the clubs. The only restriction is that you need to be in by 1 am. So next time, keep an eye out for a promo team passing by.
Start drinking at home
This sounds a little bit silly, but we Dutchies are known to be very keen on spending as little money as possible ☺. You can say we are experts on saving money. Our tip is to get some drinks from the local supermarket and start your party at your villa or apartment. It is good fun too. You get dressed up, play some music and have a few drinks to get in the mood. It will save you a lot of money when buying fewer drinks in the clubs. The drinks in the clubs are expensive, so keep that in mind.
Take the bus when you are on Ibiza on a tight budget

Get a taxi or disco bus
The Guardia Civil is very strict and they are not to be messed with. When they catch you driving while you had too much to drink, you will have a HUGE problem. The fines are very high and you can even end up in prison. This is no joke: there are just too many accidents in summer on the island due to drunk driving. You don’t want to be responsible for a terrible accident. Just take a taxi or even better, the disco bus. It is a fun way to start your evening and meet new people. Use this handy tool to calculate the price for your taxi ride. The Disco bus has various stops on the island so it is very easy to get to one of the major
Get a VIP Table
We all want to live like rock stars once in a while. Therefore, how cool is it to sit on a table with your own waiter, watching one of the superstar DJs rock peoples’ minds. The big advantage is that you can enter the club through the VIP entrance, which is a happening in itself. People in the queues are wondering who you are and they will envy you. Another cool aspect is that if you are with a group of 8 to 10 people it will even be cheaper. Most tables cost between 1500 and 2000 Euros so that will be around 200 Euros each for a great club night. You can book most of the VIP tables on the website of the clubs.
Be careful with (too much) drugs
Although we do not condone drug use of any sort it is a fact that people use drugs. We really don’t like to sound like your mother. We just want to make you aware that it is dangerous to use too much different kinds of drugs on one evening. Make sure that if you still like to use drugs, that there is someone with you who can keep an eye on you in case something goes wrong, so that person can help you. Just be smart when you want to have a good time!
Meet new people
Ibiza is very open-minded and in our opinion the easiest way to meet new people. It is very easy to start talking to a complete stranger in the clubs. One of our best friends in Ibiza we met through a simple chat at the bar. So don’t be shy! Talk to people, show genuine interest in the person. And the rest will work out by itself.
