An interview with Ana Ostrom Jewellery designer on Ibiza

When did you start with designing jewellery?
It all started when I moved with my cousin to Ibiza in the autumn of 2004, we both where in a massive crossroad in our lives and needed to get away. We took care of a cabin by Cala Salada, my cousin is a very talented painter so she painted the day’s a way. I got restless so I got started with some beading that later got some positive attention when the summer came and I was waitressing at the Cardamom Club in St; Eulalia. I have always loved jewellery, coming home with bold and colourful pieces from my travels but it was my cousin that thought I would be good at making it so thanks to her it has become my obsession.
