Taxis
Getting around the island of Ibiza is very easy no matter what your budget is. You can take a bus or rent a car or cycle and find your own way. Another way of transportation on Ibiza is by taxi. You can find taxis all over the island. Your very first encounter with the Ibiza taxi service will most likely be when you get out of the airport. The taxis are lined up right in front of the airport. Our experience is that if you are in a group with more than 4 people, just ask the taxi drivers for a van or more taxis.
In most of the Ibiza towns you can find taxi stands or you can call one by raising your hand. If the roof has a green light, it means the taxi is free to take you to your desired location. The taxis on Ibiza charge by the meter. The minimal charge during the day is around 1.90 Euro and at night around 2.80 Euro.
Keep in mind that not all taxis will bring you all the way up to the mountain when the roads are less accessible because of mud or because of the path is too steep.. Some of the villas are situated there, so you might find them difficult to reach.
If you are not able to catch a taxi during the busy summer nights or when you are in a small village, here are some useful telephone numbers to call for a taxi:

| Airport Taxi | 971 295 481 |
| Ibiza Town | 971 389 482 |
| San Antonio | 971 340 074 |
| Santa Eulalia | 971 330 063 |
| San José | 971 800 080 |
| San Juan | 971 333 033 |
| Formentera | 971 322 016 |
In short: if you are going out on a night in town or just to the beach, the Ibiza taxi drivers are making sure you ‘ll be comfortably taken to your desired destination.
