Playa des Canar (Es Cana)

Playa des Canar (Es Cana) is a fairly large resort, situated on the north east coast of Ibiza. It's about 5 kilometres from Santa Eulalia and named after the village, Es Canar. The beautiful moon shaped beach is perfect for sunbathing and swimming and popular with families. Restaurants and bars are scattered around the beach and supermarkets and kiosks are open for your convenience.

The beach is around 300 meters in its length and 20 meters wide. De beach is a Blue Flag beach and it has sun beds, parasols, showers and lifeguards so children can play safely all day. There are a variety of water sports available at the beach in Es Canar. With an abundance of operators offering sports like jet skiing operating throughout the summer, the beach comes to life as soon as the season begins.

A visit to the tiny harbour filled with fishing boats and fabulous views, might be another option, instead of a car or bus ride, to Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Town or the island of Formentera.
