Right to the centre of the town’s walkway, before the marina, lies one of the most favourite beaches in the area, Santa Eulalia Beach. It is a half moon shaped beach with finely grained white sand and it has a very friendly slope down to the water that makes it ideal for kids to swim. The sand used to be part of the sea. The area has been filled with sand drawn from the sea itself to make it well coated so that it perfectly matches the sea bed with utmost uniformity. It is the main beach of Santa Eulalia. The beach is very accessible to all as even the disabled have a ramp to reach it. There is a walkway, which is shaded perfectly by palm trees, and there are covered benches, which are ideal for relaxing while watching the sunset.

At the southern end of Santa Eulalia you will find another interesting place called Platje des Riu de Santa Eulalia. If a beach needs to brag and be proud of one thing, this “second place” beach in Santa Eulalia has a river to boast of. Moreover, it is the only one in Ibiza with a pretty little harbour.

The beach is perfectly clean and well maintained, making it a perfect place to enjoy your summer anytime of the day. It is 250 meters long and 25 meters wide. There are lifeguards, showers, sun beds and parasols and the beach is a Blue Flag beach.

Shopping is never a problem at Santa Eulalia Beach. Being situated so near to the town of Santa Eulalia,  the accessibility to supermarkets and shops provides a great advantage. The walkway with palm trees is packed with restaurants and bars ready to serve you whenever you feel like having something to eat.

There are so many things to do in the beach such as pedaloes and banana boat rides. You may also want to experience the thrill of speed by trying the water skiing or jet skiing, which will make you feel the spirit of freedom in the water! From Ibiza Town, take a bus, car or ferry, as these means of transportation are available to help you experience the beauty that is Santa Eulalia! A parking for the disabled is also available at the beach.
